Jeremy Billauer is a Creative Technologist and New Media Artist based in Denver, Colorado. His artistic projects are interactive and use various instances of physical computing to create experiences of embodied cognition for participants and viewers alike. Inspired by the effortless and innate influence of natural systems, he primarily creates multi-person interactive installation pieces heavily reliant on human input, often exploring notions of the emotional and energetic resonance between both individuals and collectives. Each of his works is made with an intention to foster empathetic connection for participants in both interpersonal and intrapersonal capacities. Jeremy also works professionally with individuals and companies as an interaction and product designer developing graphic, web and physical media for both internal and client applications.
Previously exhibited works include Collective Attunement at Leon Gallery in Denver, CO and Particle Portrait at Vicky Myhren Gallery in Denver, CO.
He is currently living and working Denver.
